Our most recent pastor, Rev. Dr. Charles E. Thomas, Jr. resigned in December 2012 as pastor of Mount Carmel Community Baptist Church and accepted a position as Vice President of Administrtive Services at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Mount Carmel congratulates Dr. Thomas on moving forward to the next level within his ministry and continue to pray for the Thomas family.

In abscence of a pastor Mount Carmel will have guest speakers come in weekly until all preparations is made for those candidates interested in becoming the pastor at Mount Carmel.

Mount Carmel is asking everyone to continue to pray for us as we go through this transition.
